In addition, Mr. Firestone is the founder of Oklahoma Business Brokers, Oklahoma Commercial Realty, and Bluestem Resources Affiliated Group.  Mr. Firestone understands and cares about the needs and challenges business owners face.  He has founded and owns other businesses unrelated to the brokerage industry.

Since 1986, Rob has advised and worked with: small to mid-sized business owners, business acquisition candidates (individuals, owner / operators, partnerships, strategic and synergistic acquirers, Investment Groups, and Private Equity Groups), Lenders (senior, junior and mezzanine), Business Valuators and Appraisers, Real Estate Appraisers, Machinery & Equipment Appraisers, Attorneys (Contract, Tax, and Litigation), CPAs, Tax Advisors, and Other Allied Professionals.

For many years, Rob served on the Board of Directors and is a Past-Chairman of the IBBA (International Business Brokers Association), with a membership of 2,000 who focus on valuing, and representing small “main-street” business sales.

Rob also served multiple terms on the Board of Directors and is a Past-Chairman of The M&A Source (The Merger & Acquisition Source), with a membership of 400 business valuation analysts, CPAs, professional intermediaries, investment bankers, lenders, attorneys, and private equity groups specializing in lower middle market companies which ordinarily have market values ranging from Two Million Dollars to One Hundred Fifty Million Dollars.

Rob is recipient of numerous awards such as the M&AMI credential (Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary), CBI (Certified Business Intermediary), the Darrell Fouts Award for Excellence in the Profession, a Real Estate Brokerage License (state of Oklahoma), and an Honorary Lifetime Membership to The M&A Source.  He is also a founding contributor and past Board Member of BIEF (Business Intermediary Education Foundation) that promotes business intermediary and entrepreneurship through education and scholarships, and continues as a member of the IBBA’s Past Presidents Counsel to offer guidance to the IBBA and brokerage industry.

As a valuable contributor to the industry’s success, Mr. Firestone has served on the SITF (Strategic Issues Task Force) which included participation with the SEC Licensing Task Force – Part of SEC Advisory Committee Exploration of Private-Placement Broker-Dealers regulatory issues and recommendations.

Since 1986, as a fundamental step in representing business sales, mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Firestone has prepared Business Valuations, Pricing Strategy Opinions, Business Value Benchmarking, Income Calculations, and Ranges of Value.  The Business Valuations are reasonably comprehensive for the scope of services, while also being straight-forward and easy to understand by the Client(s) and Intended Users.

Jennifer Firestone

Director of Operations

Jennifer brings her 23 years of experience in marketing, advertising, communications, public relations, and administration to benefit Oklahoma Corporate Acquisitions, Oklahoma Business Brokers, and their clientele. Building upon OCA and OKBB’s impeccable reputation in business sales, mergers, acquisitions, and strategic corporate growth, she plays an integral dual role within the organization serving as Director of Operations while being actively involved in the deal process and transactions.

Over the past fifteen years, Jennifer has been an integral component of OCA and OKBB and assisted in dozens of transactions. Her transaction experience includes marketing and packaging, negotiations and due diligence in many industries such as manufacturing, service, wholesale and distribution, energy andutilities, and construction.

In addition to overseeing the operations, Jennifer also helps facilitate transactions and develops and implements multi-channel marketing/PR programs for clients and the OCA brands. She produces the webinar series for the OCA Business Forum along with OCA’s strategic partner, the Tulsa Business Journal.   OCA is regularly invited to be featured guest speakers at organizations and universities and requested to teach industry courses and workshops, and Jennifer manages this process.

Jennifer’s expertise uses a synergistic approach to build and execute strategies to drive success for internal goals and objectives within an organization. Her background and education is in Organizational Communications at the University of Oklahoma. Jennifer utilizes a holistic approach integrating the organization itself and related services, clients, and transaction advisors rather than simply focusing on the traditional promotion of consumer products and services.

Her community efforts have included being active with the Tulsa Metro Chamber Hospitality Club and serving as publicity chair for local non-profit events, such as the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.
